Brittany Ferries has unveiled its long-anticipated summer 2025 schedule, offering services connecting Guernsey, the UK, and France.

This announcement follows the recent approval of a new 15-year operating licence by the States of Guernsey, paving the way for a new era under the company's majority ownership of Condor Ferries.

As part of its initiative to bolster the regional economy, the ferry operator, which also manages the local fleet, has committed to a more customer-focused approach.

Christophe Mathieu, CEO of both Brittany Ferries and Condor Ferries, said: “Brittany Ferries will introduce an approach to passenger and freight management based on a philosophy we have proudly embraced for more than 50 years. We exist to connect people, facilitate trade and enrich the regions we serve.”

Starting from 28th March 2025 through to 30th September 2025, the new schedule will link Poole, Portsmouth, Guernsey, and St Malo, facilitating both passenger and freight travel.

The operational model includes the year-round Condor Islander ferry, which will run service six days a week to and from Portsmouth.

Additionally, the high-speed vessel Condor Voyager will operate daily in peak season between St Malo, Guernsey, and Poole, with a reduced schedule during off-peak times.

“We are delighted to confirm our agreement with the States of Guernsey and I am pleased to confirm that next summer's sailings will be available next Tuesday, so my message to everyone is we are open for business.”

The company has taken steps to ensure that the new schedule meets demand and supports tourism in Guernsey, which is regarded as crucial for local travel options.

In a bid to assist local residents and boost travel, a free-sign-up scheme launched in July recorded nearly 1,000 registrations for journeys to and from Guernsey.

These individuals will be contacted once bookings commence on 26th November to finalise their travel arrangements.

Brittany Ferries and Condor Ferries have also initiated a programme offering discounted fares for residents travelling on chosen routes to Spain and Ireland, which will remain in effect in the new schedule, following over 100 customers taking advantage of the offer earlier this year.

Mathieu emphasised the need for cooperation amongst local stakeholders, stating, “The key to making this schedule a success is putting in the effort to showcase the Island, especially in light of recent delays. We will therefore hit the ground running and work closely with trade and industry partners to maximise this opportunity and catch up on lost time.”

The complete summer 2025 schedule is now available online, allowing customers to book through the website, port offices, or via phone.
